About me

Cosy Canine Cottage offers dog boarding in my own home. I offer bespoke home boarding for a maximum of 2 dogs who will live here with me and my own friendly dog. Dogs staying with me have an experience tailored to their personal needs. I will follow your instructions as I know how important routine can be including diet, training schedules or medication needs. Where appropriate dogs will be walked and exercised daily with my own dog. I always arrange a meeting with me and my dog prior to any booking to chat about the care of your dog and allow your dog to get to know us and feel comfortable in our surroundings.

Cosy Canine Cottage, is a home from home for your most precious pooch. Based just outside Ruthin we are in a beautiful rural setting. I have a secure front and back garden for daily exercise and lots of exciting walks from our doorstep. I am fully licensed and insured. I work full time as a hybrid home worker so I am able to accommodate boarders throughout the week as well as weekends. I absolutely love dogs. I have owned dogs for years including two rescues and trained my current dog from a puppy. I understand that some dogs need lots of walks and attention and others don't.

I offer boarding because of the interaction it gives my dog with other dogs and seeing how much fun he has from the additional company.

I have experience in hosting dogs of all sizes, activity levels and attention needs. Your dog will have the run of the cottage if that is their routine. I have a stair gate for any older dogs or those not usually permitted upstairs.

There is plenty of space for dogs to have crates or beds if needed. I do a lot of walking - rain, wind or shine I am out walking with my dog so your pooch can join us for a walk that best suits them.

I will give you regular feedback, photos, videos, about daily activities to ensure you have peace of mind that your dog is having their own fabulous holiday. I have great testimonials from happy owners.

My ambition is to cater for your four legged friend in the way I would hope my own dog would be looked after.
